Conservatory-trained, and used to teaching children.

Elizabeth Fuentes teaching a student at home

Founder

Elizabeth Fuentes

Elizabeth founded Eliz Piano Academy in 2019 with a simple idea: the lesson should come to the family, not the other way round. What began as her own teaching practice now includes a small team of instructors who share the same approach.

She teaches piano and early childhood music, and works with students from age 3 through adults — including families who homeschool and need daytime scheduling.

The instructors

All graduated from conservatories, and all have performed at concerts and cultural events alongside teaching. They also teach instruments beyond the courses we list — ask us.

What that training means for your child

  • Proper technique early

Habits formed in the first year are hard to undo. Conservatory training means they are formed correctly.

  • Patience with small children

Teaching a three-year-old is a different craft from teaching an adult. Our instructors do both.

  • A path, not just lessons

Exams, recitals, auditions and competitions when the student is ready — not before.

Meet your instructor at home.

Tell us the student's age and instrument, and we match the right teacher.
