Posture and hand position first, then repertoire and sight-reading. The most common starting point, and the one most families come to us for.
Breathing, pitch and ear training, with repertoire chosen for the student's range. Prepares for recitals and school auditions.
Chords, reading and accompaniment, taught on the student's own guitar. Songs from early on to keep motivation up.
Posture, intonation and bow control, with theory built into every lesson. Patient work on tone from the first session.
A gentle first instrument for small hands. Songs from the first lesson, theory as it comes, and an easy bridge to guitar later.
Rhythm, reading and coordination. A strong start for students who learn by moving rather than sitting still.
